We’re putting a tiny house on our land in the Santa Cruz mountains! I’m submitting plans to the planning division and getting the process going, but really wish I had more resources here!
Anybody know of a land use consultant, architect or engineer, or just someone who has gone through the process of getting a permit for their tiny house in this area?
Is there a chapter of the group in this area?
Brand new here but super interested in this! I recently started exploring this myself. From the digging and research I’ve done so far – it sounds like a lot of people have run into a hard time getting approval for tiny houses on property around here. Would love to connect with you further and hear more about your experience to date. I have limited contacts since I’m new to the area, but happy to help do any research and digging I can to help. I’d love to do something like this myself and Santa Cruz is a beautiful area!
